He was born in 2012 when his father and creator of this page was reliving himself in the bathroom of his parents home. While going about his business, focusing on the main task, he noted a heart-shaped post-it sticker in front of him reading "Viva la Revolution". As he was running out of quality reading material, having already digested literary master pieces such as Gainsbourg's "Evguénie Sokolov" and Franklin's "Fart Proudly" he came up with the glorious idea reading the lines presented in front of him backwards. And just like that Noitulover Alaviv, his beloved Alter Ego, was born. Noitulover's artistic life cycle revolves around Sigmund Freud's psychosexual development theory. According to Freud, every human beings sex drive develops in five stages. Hence, Noitulover's work are nothing less than a abstract self reflection of his Alter Ego's sexual development. Noitulover Alaviv is basically an endeavor to not only stamp the Freudian process on the artists artistic progress but also an attempt to relive the sexual development stages in a distantly observing and conscious way. "Straight out of the toothpaste tube" has then soon concluded Noitulover's first Freudian Stage of his artistic development. In the so-called oral stage his works have revolved mostly around the human face, with great focus on typical female attributes such as lips and breasts. Fortunately, a good old friend of mine was of great understanding for my unlucky situation and bought me a notebook and I got myself some pencils and started to put my observations into drawn reality. I never really drew before, having a less then pleasant experience in all sort of art classes during my childhood. Somehow my teachers had very specific perceptions how a art work should look like and gave me much lower than expected marks at an early age. Something I could not handle at the time and therefore I not only didn’t develop any passion and skills in drawing/painting but was outright scared of these classes. The same could be said about singing, something I had a lot of passion for at an early age, yet was not particular liked by my teacher as a received such a bad mark at the tender age of 9 that I never sang again. Hence, the birth of the artist Noitulover Alaviv is as much as a try to rediscover lost passion for art and selfexpression as it is to overcome childhood traumas.&nbsp; The picutres to the right are showing the city of Berne as well as two painiting from Mexico (San Cristobal and la catedral de Guadalajara) To the contrary of the other Freudian stages, the oral stage was not concluded with an exhibition, as it unraveld&nbsp; straight out of the toothpaste tube after all. Also it’s not completely clear when it really ended (as with most of the Noitulovers stages). fine farts" Noitulover Alaviv concluded the anal stage of his artistic development. During the anal stage, Noitulover has been experimenting with a new artistic tools. After solely relying on pencil during the oral stage, the anal stage has been dominated by Neocolor II, ink, carbon. During the transition into the phallic stage Noitulover fittingly started to work with more robust materials such as stell and iron. Whereas during the oral stage Noitulover's work were rather simple, focusing mainly on the female body, the anal stage has gone in a completely different direction and been dominated by rather abstract drawings. This is refelected by the fact that shit is - depeding on the consitency - a rather less indentifiable material. Rumour has it that I haven’t really overcome the anal stage myself quite yet. To not give such bullshit any life, I would like to point out that Noitulover just really likes to give a shit and also takes one every once in a while. During the 3 year long anal stage, Noitulover hasn’t cut his hair, started to take singing lessons in order to overcome his aforementioned childhood trauma, joined a men choir and tried to get into acting school. None of these endeavours were particular successful as he had to cut has hair as they became too dense, heating his head up to an extreme degree that he was in serious danger to die of hyperthermia. To make matters worse, after one year of giving his all, they kicked him out of the man choir citing his singing was just not aceptable. One may consider that the average age of the choir was beyond 70 and he was basically their only upcoming hopeful. As he also did not make it into acting school, Noitulovers has seen the brown side of life during the anal stage quite a bit and he has therefore become sort of an expert in that field. Something that he not only expected but also kind of aimed for. Fortunately, none of these events managed to discourage our dear artist as his air is growing again, he still sings when the situations calls for it and he kind of has started his very own acting career. Thus, he could peacefully end the anal stage in 2016 with a loud and proud fart that is still echoing in his universe. The exhibition was held at Vidmarhallen in Bern during the last weekend of April 2016 and was part of VidmART16. First works of the phallic stage were also already exhibited. Very similar to the oral stage and the transition from the anal stage into the phallic stage was not clear cut. Of Brain Arts and Fine Farts was Noitulover's first exhibition. During the phallic stage, Noitulover has shifted his focus on iron and steel so far. However, there was rather rocky transition from the anal stage into the phallic stage. After first works of the phallic stage came into existence during the phase out of the anal stage, spearheaded by the sculpture “wicked raspberry jack” a period of insecurity and doubts about life and development have characterised much of the phallic stage. However, Noitulover has rediscovered his love for bending materials and has continued to work with iron, yet in a more structured and dynamic way. As Noitulover had basically nothing visible to show for during Igors run, it was not that he was sleeping like an inactive volcano. Quite the oppisite! There where quite some things going on during the last 5 years. First of all, he decided to quit his regular job – going full Igor mode for 6 months and then he got into business with the sun, becoming a part time Solar technician. That was basically a self-fulfilling prophecy as he was already thinking about his next project – connecting the world in his own way in order to spread his shitty ideas about shit and stuff. It all started with a visit to a “Brockenstube” or as Noitulover likes to say – a broken saloon. There he found a 60 years old telephone. Not thinking much he bought it for the heck of it. Then back in his atelier he was pondering what to do with this old piece of Bakelite. He started to study its electronics and soon figured that he might able to get this old baby back up running with a few tweaks. In it didn’t take him long to put a Raspberry Pi in that thing and got it running in its very own style. And so the idea was born to create his very own telephone system. As he wanted to run anywhere, power from the sun was needed where power outlets where a distant dream. Hence, it came in handy that he got the learn the ways of solar power by actually working in that very business. However, he soon run into more problems as the project itself was technical challenging to say the least. So after one year or so he decided to get to the bottom of all this electrical stuff and enrolled into an electrical engineering program. Yes, and there we are. One year into Noitulovers “Genital Stage”. There is already a prototype of a solar powered phone booth (Funkloch) and also a battery powered music trailer (Trailer42. It was his first project after the time machine and it shows clearly the direction he wants to go with his arts - electrical powerd installations with a very Noituloveresque design . It is powered by a 12v 105AH Acid-Lead Battery feeding a 200W Subwoofer and a 2x80 Watts and a 2x60 Watts Stereo Soundsystem and totalling around 500W - so almost a 5000W bass machine! As Noitulover is an analog guy, so is the sound. Up to 10 Playlists can be loaded with an USB-Stick into the system and then can be controlled over switches and buttons on the trailer. Alternatively all the control interfaces can just as easily be accessed digitally with an App. For the lazy folks - the input device can be changed to Bluetooth and sound from Spotify, Youtube or other soundproducing applications can be streamed directly into the sound system. The Trailer is run by a Raspberry Pi 4 and the system is able produce music on full volume for approximatly 6-8 hours without the need to recharche the battery. It runs on a 200 WattPeak Solar Panel providing plenty of power to fill the 12V 30AH LiFePo4 Battery. According to Noitulover the thing should be running for 2 days straight in the absent of any daylight! Anyhow, the idea is to provide many of these in order to spread the message! (even Noitulover himself doesn’t know the message yet, but who cares). The thing, let’s call the EyEyEy-Eye - like an alternative to the illuminate eye. We need alternatives more than ever in these crazy times. So here we go. The EyEyEy-Eye should work like this - as it is equipped with a 2 Megapixel Camera and an infrared motion detector, the EyEyEy-Eye will know that you are there even before you do (of course, all these information will be intercepted by whoever because Noitulover has no idea about Internet Security - but this is a different story). On Eye-Sight, the phone will start to ring and god will talk to you through the speaker on the back end of the phone booth, telling you to pick up to phone. As soon as you’ve removed the phone from the fork, all the information you’ll need to know will be given to you for free! Fucking amzing!
